Kelly Clarkson to release nine-song iTunes EP

Kelly Clarkson has announced plans to release an exclusive EP via Apple music retailer iTunes.

The 'Mr Know It All' singer will drop the nine-track recording, which features new versions of some of her biggest hits, on December 27. Pre-orders begin December 13.

Besides Clarkson's most recent hit single, the EP will also include two other tracks from her new album, Stronger, 'You Can't Win' and 'What Doesn't Kill You (Stronger)'. New versions of 'Since U Been Gone', 'Why Don't You Try' and 'My Life Would Suck Without You' will also appear in re-imagined forms.

Finally, the closing tracks of the album will consist of Clarkson's cover of 'I'll Be Home For Christmas' and an interview with the artist herself.

Clarkson revealed this week that she plans to enter the studio to record a duet with Demi Lovato, written by one of her friends.

She has been nominated for a 2012 Grammy Award in the 'Best Country Duo/Group Performance' category for 'Don't You Wanna Stay', her duet with Jason Aldean.
