Chaz Bono has reportedly called off his engagement to his fiancée Jennifer Elia.
The Dancing with the Stars contestant, who completed gender reassignment surgery in May last year, proposed to girlfriend Elia back in 2009, and finally presented her with an engagement ring last month.
Bono's representative explained that the pair are still friends, but would not divulge any reasons behind the split.
Howard Bragman told TMZ: "They leave this relationship with great love, respect and affection toward one another. No further amplification will be forthcoming and they ask that you respect their privacy at this time."
His mother Cher recently said that he was the "same person" as before his sex change in 2010.
Chaz Bono became the sixth celebrity to be eliminated from Dancing with the Stars in October.
