Charlie Sheen: 'I've quit marriage and drinking'

Charlie Sheen has vowed that he will never get married again.

The actor admitted that three divorces have soured him on ever walking down the aisle for a fourth time.

"A couple of things I don't do well - marriage and drinking. So I've quit both," Sheen joked to chatshow host Wendy Williams.

He continued: "Why would I [wed again]? That's not to say I couldn't have a substantial relationship one day, but to ordain it with a piece of paper just feels like it makes things worse, just for me personally. Because those relationships, I want to say they were pretty good before the marriage and then something happens."

Sheen also confirmed that he and ex-wife Brooke Mueller have repaired their once-strained relationship and are working together to parent their two sons Bob and Max.

He explained: "We're friends and we're just trying to stay that way and be good parents and just set a good example. We're not back together or anything… [We are living together] off and on, we're not sure what the plan is going to be but we're working all that stuff out."

This week, it was reported that Sheen could receive $25 million (£16 million) from Warner Bros Television if he drops his lawsuit for unfair dismissal from Two and a Half Men.
