Miley Cyrus has called for Demi Moore to have privacy as she undergoes treatment at a rehab facility.
The 19-year-old spoke out in support of her LOL co-star on Facebook following confirmation yesterday (February 4) that Moore has checked into a center in Utah.
"Everyone needs to leave Demi alone," the Hannah Montana actress wrote. "She's been through so much the past year. She doesn't need the crap. How can you talk crap on someone you don't know?"
Clearing up speculation about the reasoning behind Moore's rehab stint, Cyrus continued: "The media makes everyone in Hollywood seem 'weak', 'stupid', or 'unbalanced'. Just because she's in Hollywood doesn't mean she's on drugs. NOT EVERYONE IS ON DRUGS!!"
Recent reports have suggested that 49-year-old Moore secretly partied with Cyrus at her boyfriend Liam Hemsworth's 22nd birthday party last month.
The bash became infamous after photos emerged of Cyrus pulling suggestive poses with Hemsworth's penis-shaped cake.
Moore is believed to have checked into rehab shortly after collapsing at her Los Angeles home on January 23. She was alleged to have been suffering from exhaustion and anorexia, while a leaked 911 call suggested that she "smoked something" prior to falling ill.
