Lewis Hamilton has reportedly embarked upon a "full-on mission" to win back former lover Nicole Scherzinger.
The Formula 1 star split from the X Factor USA judge in October after four years together. Hamilton later declared that he was still in love with the singer and was allegedly hoping to rekindle their romance over the festive period.
"Lewis is on a full-on mission to get Nicole back," a source told the Daily Star. "He's been having her favorite flowers and thoughtful gifts delivered to her LA home and to the set of The X Factor.
"He's also been sending her notes saying, 'I love you. I want you back'. He misses her terribly and has told friends he won't stop until he's won her over."
Insiders added that although Scherzinger "has been hit hard by the split", she is still holding off on a reunion with Hamilton.
"She is enjoying having the control at the moment," they said. "Although she has yet to make her mind up."
Scherzinger has been romantically linked to Tinie Tempah and her X Factor colleague Steve Jones since the break-up.
