The UK Chart Show Chart Hopeful:
T-Pain / Wiz Khalifa / Lily Allen - 5 O'Clock

T-Pain has revealed that Lily Allen planned to star in his new music video before she became pregnant.

The rapper has sampled Allen's track 'Who'd Have Known' for his new single '5 O'Clock', which also features Wiz Khalifa.

T-Pain admitted that Allen "loved" how he had used the song and that there were plans for her to be in the accompanying music video.

"Lily was going to be in the video, but she's a little bloated right now," he joked. "She said she didn't really want to be in the public eye being so super-mommy fat!"

The producer explained that the Lily Allen lookalike in the video was planned and added: "Lily picked that girl. That was her decision and that's why we put her in there."

T-Pain also confessed that he decided to film the video in Amsterdam's red light district after being told it wasn't allowed.

"It was great. I had been to Amsterdam a couple of times and people had told me that you can't film in the red light district," he said.

"So I made sure that I set out to shoot a video in the red light district! Once people tell me I can't do stuff, I'm going to go and make it happen."

Speaking about T-Pain's use of her track, Allen explained: "When I first heard the T-Pain track '5 O'Clock', I was really impressed by how well he interpreted my song 'Who'd Have Known'.

"The ironic thing about this was that I had re-worked Take That's 'Shine' by writing a brand new lyric to their song – which became 'Who'd Have Known'. So Take That's original song continues to have legs by being rewritten, twice over."

She added: "I heard a story that T-Pain first heard my song when he was stuck on hold, when ringing up an Apple store, and that he had no idea who I was or who was singing the song, but after he hung up he went on a mission to find out who recorded the song."

When asked if she liked the track, Allen responded: "I love '5 O'Clock'! It's absolutely brilliant, and I'm really flattered by what he did to my original track!"

'5 O'Clock' is out now in the US and will be available to download in the UK from December 4.
It will feature on T-Pain's upcoming album rEVOLVEr, which is currently slated for a December 6 release.
