Before Jason Derulo goes all Justin Timberlake on us and leaves us momentarily for the Hollywood hills, the 21-year-old is looking to add another hit to his discography stats by releasing a third cut from his Future History LP. But is 'Fight For You' enough to round off JD's not-too-shabby a year with a hat-trick of hits under his flashy designer belt?
"It's gonna take some time but I know you're worth fighting for," Derulo croons over airy synths and bouncy castle-sized beats whilst fulfilling his penchant for a sample by borrowing the melody from Toto's 'Africa'. The end result is much like the continent's native lion; big, showy and extremely lazy - but its roar is loud enough to ensure it remains popular with the public.
