The UK Chart Show Chart Hopeful:
Avicii - Levels

Avicii's "Le7els" is by far one of the biggest dance records of the year that has been sweeping dancefloors all across the world. Sweden's Avicii (aka Tim Berg) perfectly combines a fine knack for melody with soaring dance beats that are instantly captivating and get any crowd moving. Initially called "ID", "Le7els" has gone through multiple reiterations to transform into a pop-savvy brew that is too irresistible to be denied.

With tracks like "Le7els," "Penguin," "Fade Into Darkness" and a bunch of remixes, Avicii has become an impressive new force in the dance world. And now he's getting ready to turn it up a few notches. Universal/Interscope Records will be releasing "Le7els" in the U.S. later this year and plans on giving it a firm push into the mainstream.

The signing of Avicii follows the the addition of U.K. dubstep sensation Nero to Cherrytree Records' growing roster of artists. Cherrytree Records is an Interscope imprint that has been setting the tone for pop alternative music in America. With now both Nero and Avicii in its portfolio, Interscope appeats to put more emphasis on dance in its talent development efforts. This once again underlines that dance music has taken over America and is here to stay.

Expect an announcement about the exact release date of "Le7els" in the U.S. very soon. In the meantime, watch an official montage about the global success of "Le7vels" that was made to announce the Interscope news this morning.
