Adele "very positive" after throat microsurgery
Adele has confirmed that her recent throat surgery was a success.
The singer underwent vocal cord microsurgery in Boston earlier this month to stop bleeding resulting from a benign polyp.
In a post on her official blog, Adele said: "Thank you for all your positive thoughts and get well wishes. I'm doing really well, on the mend, super happy, relaxed and very positive with it all.
"The operation was a success and I'm just chilling out now until I get the all-clear from my doctors."
She added: "Thank you to everyone who voted for the awards I've won recently as well. Hugely appreciated. I best get back to practicing my mime show now."
Adele will release her concert DVD Live At The Royal Albert Hall on November 28, which will also be available as a CD set.
